Lane is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is also certified in financial forensics (CFF). The CFF is a specialization awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In 2018, Lane was appointed to the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Valuation, Forensic, Accounting, & Litigation Committee. Lane graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Accounting. She has a MBA from Oklahoma City University and completed post graduate studies at Walden University.
Lane has worked for three of the four largest accounting firms in the world. She held the position of Audit Manager at Ernst & Young, LLC, and Coopers & Lybrand, LLC (now PWC); and started her career as a senior accountant at Peat, Marwick and Mitchell, LLC (now KPMG).
Lane has taught several university level courses at Keiser University in Melbourne, Florida and at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. She continues to teach and author courses for MIS Training Institute and provides investigation training and internal audit seminars for fortune 500 companies.
Lane is a member of the AICPA and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Lindsee joined Hollis, Pleiman and Company in August 2009 and has continually progressed in both job knowledge and responsibilities. Lindsee is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida. One of her key skills is her ability to interact with people through personal relationships.
Lindsee is a 2008 graduate of the University of Florida, the Fisher School of Accounting, concentrating her studies in Tax. She has worked for Ernst and Young as a Staff Accountant in the Tax Department during 2008 and 2009. She holds a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting. While attending the university, she was a teaching assistant for a tax law and research course. Upon graduating, she worked for Ernst & Young. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Lindsee’s core competencies include state and federal tax return preparation, compilations, audit and attestation, financial and tax planning, financial statement preparation, tax and accounting research and bookkeeping. Lindsee has over 10 years of experience in accounting, audit and tax.
Christine joined the company in August of 2015 as the Receptionist/Office coordinator, supporting and assisting in payroll and data entry she has progressed tremendously in her role over the years. Now as the Office Manager, Christine oversees client satisfaction as well as employee progression and development. She oversees all day-to-day aspects of the business, and is constantly going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Maria joined the firm as a Senior Tax Accountant and is responsible for preparing, processing and reviewing the appropriate federal and/or state tax returns for business and personal tax returns. Maria holds a Masters of Professional Accountancy, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine. She is a licensed CPA in the state of California and Florida.
Prior to joining the firm, Maria worked for Ernst and Young in San Diego, CA as a Tax Accountant. Her duties included Corporate and State Tax preparation, as well as annual and quarterly tax provisions.
Kathy is an Accounting and Tax Manager at Hollis, Pleiman and Company, P.A. Kathy provides valuable supervisory services to all accounting specialized and shared services staff and manages in our tax and accounting departments, which includes managing all aspects of QuickBooks and Accounting CS.
Kathy holds a Masters of Business Administration from Ellis College of New York, Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from National University and an Associates of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Jenney College.
Kathy is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia and Florida with over nine years of experience in corporate and public accounting. She is outgoing and detail oriented, and takes pride in forming and maintaining professional relationships with coworkers and clients. Kathy has gained experience in both corporate and public accounting and served clients in a variety of industries.
Kathy also holds a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certificate.
